Fox News Forced Out of Protest March

Today, Tommy Christopher and I spent the morning at the Recreate68 protest here in Denver. The protest included a rally, speeches, Cynthia McKinney, a hip-hop performance, costumes, slogans, Palestinian flags and, of course, assault on Fox News. Warning: Extremely foul language throughout.
Tommy will have a post later this evening with more video featuring the Fox crew.
It's hard to tell in the video (I was getting jostled pretty badly), but the protesters got very physical with the Fox crew. They attempted to smash the camera on the street, and, when they couldn't get it from the cameraman's grasp, they just started shoving him instead. It looked like the initial hit struck the camera on the bridge of his nose hard enough to draw blood, but I couldn't be sure. Eventually the Fox crew had to leave on a side street. The bloodthirsty crowd cheered their Roman Coliseum cheers.
The rage and hate of the violent protesters was clear. They despised the Fox News crew. They feel Fox is conservative, and therefore, I suppose, scum. So much for hearing all views.
Throughout the event, these men and women exercising their freedom of speech lamented, in dramatic and ominous terms, their lack of free speech. Then in the middle of the event they decided to silence the Fox News crew.
For a peace protest, these guys sure are ready to make war. Not with enemies abroad, but with conservatives at home, real or perceived. Stop war, they cry. Just not theirs, apparently.
Tommy Christopher, a Democrat, and Caleb Howe, a Republican, are on the ground in Denver to bring you their dueling political perspectives throughout the Democratic National Convention. Check back to follow their feature, "Floor Fight."

Funny how you never see violent conservative protests. Conservatives have class and dignity. This is just a typical example of just what kind of lowlife sub-humans liberals really are. The video speaks louder than words. Oh, and tom, up yours.

Up yours too grace. Fox lies? Look in the mirror. Oh wait. You better not. Seven years bad luck and all.
Grace8:58PMAug 24th 2008
We all know, including Fox, their viewers and you Caleb that Fox news spews nothing but LIES and hatred towards liberals, progressives, Democrats or anyone who doesn't agree with their rhetoric. I don't approve of violence, if there was, but I'm sure glad these protesters let Fox news know how they feel about their unfair and unbalanced so called reporting.
And stop being such a cry baby.

RENDELL: OBAMA COVERAGE WAS EMBARRASSING
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell was supposed to give “closing remarks” during this afternoon’s Shorenstein Center-sponsored panel discussion with all three Sunday show moderators — NBC’s Tom Brokaw, ABC’s George Stephanopoulous and CBS’s Bob Schieffer — but instead, he opened up a can of worms about bias in 2008 election coverage
"Ladies and gentleman, the coverage of Barack Obama was embarrassing," said Rendell, in the ballroom at Denver's Brown Palace Hotel. "It was embarrassing."
Rendell, an ardent Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter during the primaries, now backs Obama in the general election. Brokaw and Rendell began debating campaign coverage, including the on-air comments by Lee Cowan, and when MSNBC came up, Rendell went after the cable network.
“MSNBC was the official network of the Obama campaign," Rendell said, who called their coverage "absolutely embarrassing."
Chris Matthews, Rendell said, "loses his impartiality when he talks about the Clintons.”
LOL go get um Ed!!!

Do You Know what Cindy McCain's Sister got from the estate?
His first daughter Kathleen, her husband and children had received gifts, credit cards, and college tuition payments in the decade before his death, but were not left anything from his estate.[1]

Grace, you attack anybody who doesn't vote for Obama. Let's get honest here.
You keep telling the Hillary supporters to "GET OVER IT." You're right! They should all just STFU. It's not as if they are entitled to the FIRST AMENDMENT or anything!!
I have YET to see you post ONE thing that Obama has done for out country. You just bash everybody else.

I cannot stand Fox "news". I have no idea how any intelligent person can perceive it as anything but what it is--a media arm of the Republican party. I immediately lose respect for anyone who references it. It's unfair, unbalanced, malevolent propaganda. Studies have shown that people who ingest its "news" are the most uninformed, misinformed news viewers. The tide is changing against Fox, and this is great news for our nation!

The only good conservative is the one you read about in your local papers obituary column........
Navythunder9:38PMAug 24th 2008
No suprise here. The liberals believe only they have freedom of speech. FOX news has the right to cover any news story just like CNN or any other network. "Stop the war!" they cry. Then violently attack a man who is just doing his job. What a bunch of hypocrits.
Crystal9:41PMAug 24th 2008
Oh and let's not forget CNN. They're fair!! :::eye roll:::
The media was out to get Obama elected. Just like they did with Bush!

Grace
"I tell facts not lies......" Well as they say in MO Show ME.
Most of your posts have NO factual information just your opinion. IE.
"We all know.......Fox news spews nothing but lies and hatred."
Where do you get FACTS like that from Grace???, the Daily KOS, CNN, MSNBC, The Times.
Are not these the same media outlets that knew John Edwards had cheated on his wife for months, even years, but did not want to expose a Democrat in a scandal???
Thanks in part to the prolonged Obama/Hillary primaries many previous FOX hating Democrats and Hillary supporters saw the media bias and have helped to make FOX news the #1 cable news network. Fox beats CNN and MSNBC by HUGE margins.
But your smarter than all those millions of people who watch FOX because????......................... YOU know its all lies, yeah.

It's so much easier to enforce security at Republican Conventions---They just take their walkers away from them!

Know when to fold'em,
Know when to walk away,
And when TO RUN!!!"

I've Seen A CNN Reporter Get shot In the Field, and Still Get the Story!!!

If we insist
on making it a race between
the left and the right
between the liberal and the conservative
so be it
Liberals are for the people
conservatives are for business
allowing the conservative to
run the country
is like
allowing the horse
to take the rider
where the horse
wants to go
most likely
to stuff its belly
with green stuff
think about it
we the people
for the people
of the people
by the people
will be no more
forevermore
unless we take the reins back
