Implosion?

Lady J Usa, announced on her blog that since Obama is now the nominee of the Democrat Party, the NObama Network is officially endorsing John McCain. It seems that a lot of people feel betrayed by the Democratic Party in its present incarnation. The Democratic Party has a rich history of Presidents who stood up to the enemy, of Presidents who were not afraid to do the right thing, even when it was unpopular at the time. Many of its past leaders and Presidents both in their fiscal as well foreign policies sounded far more conservative than any of today’s conservatives. Equally true, however, is the fact that some of the greatest dividers of this country, some of the most rabid racists were also members of the Democratic Party.

Paradoxically, many immigrants to these shores - and I among them - long believed that the Democrats were OUR party. As the bigots were slowly purged through old age or the loss of elections (notably, one former Klansman is still a Democrat Senator - Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia!), they were replaced by ever more left leaning politicians. Many ideologically disenfranchised former Democrats left for other, more compatible, venues as a result. Frankly, I thoroughly understand the words of President Reagan who once said: “I did not leave the Democrat Party, it left me!” Today we see a further exodus, the exodus of those who felt betrayed by the party’s new star and his coterie.

Michelle Obama, when she spoke, constantly repeated key phrases from Saul D. Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, as Gateway Pundit aptly pointed out. What was Mr. Alinsky’s goal, how did he expect to achieve it? The Wikipedia says:

Alinsky was a critic of a passive and ineffective mainstream liberalism. In Rules for Radicals, he argued that the most effective means are whatever will achieve the desired ends, and that an intermediate end for radicals should be democracy because of its relative ease to work within to achieve other ends of social justice.

In other words, he advocated a movement beyond Liberalism. He intended to use democracy to further his aims and replace it with a new system to achieve other ends of social justice. Other ends? “Democracy,” as Winston once remarked, “is a terrible system, but it is the best we have!” Yet, Mr. Alinsky and his disciples wanted it replaced it by working from within to rot and destroy it. Alinsky’s philosophy goes hand in hand with the ideas of such Obama acquaintances as Bill Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist, Jeremiah Wright, etc., etc. It is no wonder, therefore that having fought for their candidate until the end, some Democrats saw the light and realized that the current Democratic Party is not the party that represents their ideals.

In spite of the all these the sheeple, nursed on the lies, distortions, innuendoes and “philosophy” of such celebrated pseudo thinkers as Noam Chomsky and his ilk, still believe that America is the root of all evil, Wishfully believe that Obama, the Messiah, can cure all the world’s ills by weaving his magic wand. His lack of experience, the fact that nothing in his past would indicate any such capability or interest does not bother them. All they want, all they dream, all they drool about is the dismantling of the current system. Why? so that it can be replaced with… with… With what, you ask gentle reader? Why, with chaos of course!

They still believe in Jean Jacques Rousseau’s disproven ideas that man becomes corrupt by living within society and that only a return to nature will return one’s natural goodness… Even those of you, who prefer the scientific approach over the Bible’s narrative, can agree that the idea of not living in a society is disastrous. Alas, history will show that living in nature was dangerous, that there was no goodness. Yet Chomsky advocates just such an solution, albeit, in a far more sophisticated and contemporary manner.

The unthinking masses who know nothing of history, nothing of psychology or sociology except what Chomsky and other such academics choose to tell them with a slant that suits their agenda are all like cult followers in their blind infatuation with The One.

Earlier today, on digg.com I received a shout for this movie clip with a very young Bob Hope. It could have been made today, listen closely or you’ll miss the perfect description of today’s Obamanates!

I also feel betrayed by the Democratic Party and since I was not voting for Obama the party told me I was racist never mind I am African American that is what I was told over and over again. Now I have never heard McCain utter a racist remark but Obama says things like “typical white people” and they are bitter and cling to their guns and religion yet Obama has the nerve to try to paint McCain as a racist because he is a Republican. They know nothing about history because it is the Republicans that actually freed the slaves and just because someone is Republican doesn’t make them racist.

Someone sent me the Bob Hope clip several months ago. I have it saved on my computer and play it from time to time. It is incredibly appropriate for such an old clip!

I would bet dollars to donuts that should Obama be elected, he will surprise the majority of Jewish voters by being very supportive of the general needs of his Jewish constituents and to the security needs of Israel
